What is included in kitchen fitting?
The fitting quote sets out the cupboards, worktops, sink, appliances and finishing work included for your kitchen. Preparation, removal, plumbing, electrics and any separate specialist work should be listed clearly, so you know who is doing each part.
Will I be able to use my kitchen during the work?
There will be times when cooking and washing facilities are unavailable. Before fitting starts, agree which appliances can stay in use and how you will manage while the room is being worked on.
What if there is a problem behind the old cupboards?
Problems with the walls, floor, plumbing or wiring may only become clear when the old kitchen is removed. If extra work is needed, it should be explained and agreed before it goes ahead.
Do all worktops go in at the same time?
Some worktops are fitted with the cupboards. Others need a specialist to measure the fixed base units before the surface is made. This can change the order of work and how long the kitchen takes to finish.
